The meaning behind the bear in the logo and the caramelly brand color palette comes from my interpretation of the symbolism of these words below.
Courage, Patience, and Curiosity
My grandpa Nobbe instilled these qualities in me as I was a young boy. We spent afternoons creating silly stories to tell each other in my grandparent’s home. There was some simple bear-themed home decor that the stories would always be inspired by.
Later in my teenage years, I’d give a metaphorical meaning to this bear to resemble the process of finding your own identity within your adventure (purpose) and not seeking it from others has been deeply personal to me throughout my life and building this business.
Now I feel like this autobiographical “Nobbe bear” represents the qualities and values of how I do my work today, helping others find the courage to tell their own stories and not holding back through curiosity and patience…
Plus, bears are an awesome mascot to represent the brand. What else can I say.
